LIBERTY CLINIC IN ALMONTE, ON
Take away the lines and connect with your horse at liberty. Learn how to motivate your horse through play and open up a whole new level of communication.
I approach liberty as a means, not just a goal, so we will be at liberty in the big arena right from the start. We will give our horses the freedom of choice, and learn how to inspire them to participate enthusiastically.
All ages and levels are welcome. Those who have never tried liberty before will get a solid start and leave with lots of ideas to practice. Experienced students will work towards greater refinement and more advanced skills, including lateral movements and collection.
Each participant will get three individual lessons over the course of the weekend. There will be theory classes both days, demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Connect with like-minded horse people, learn from each other, get inspired, and learn some new ideas to try at home.
Clinic, including theory sessions, will be held in the spacious indoor arena. A washroom is available in the barn. Please bring your own chair; blanket recommended! NOTE: Arena is enclosed, but not heated. Dress accordingly.
There will be a 45-minute lunch break each day. There will be NO food provided. Tea and hot chocolate will be available — please bring your own mug.
Day and weekend stalls are available to rent for $30/day payable directly to Willaway Farm. Please bring your own hay, feed, and buckets.
Strict health protocol, including the wearing of masks and physical distancing, will be enforced. Regular disinfecting and other preventative measures are maintained consistently throughout the barn.
All attendees must sign a COVID-19 attestation and waiver.
In the event that public health measures prevent this clinic from going ahead as scheduled, it will either be postponed to a later date, or participants will be refunded their fees in the form of a gift certificate to use towards a future clinic or private lessons.
