Learn how to influence your horse from the ground, to develop their posture and movement. By walking backwards in front of the horse, we are able to see their movement and guide them to physical and mental balance. Read more about my approach to groundwork here.

All ages and disciplines are welcome; no experience necessary.

Each participant will get three individual lessons over the course of the weekend. There will be theory classes both days, demonstrations, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

Connect with like-minded horse people, learn from each other, get inspired, and learn some new ideas to try at home.

AMENITIES

Clinic, including theory sessions, will be held in the spacious indoor arena. A washroom is available in the barn. Please bring your own chair.

There will be a 45-minute lunch break each day. There will be NO food provided.

Day and weekend stalls are available to rent for $30/day. Please bring your own hay, feed, and buckets.

NOTE: All horses must have proof of current EHV-1 vaccination status within 6 months of the clinic date.

COVID-19

Strict health protocol, including the wearing of masks and physical distancing, will be enforced. Regular disinfecting and other preventative measures are maintained consistently throughout the barn.

All attendees must sign a COVID-19 attestation and waiver.

In the event that public health measures prevent this clinic from going ahead as scheduled, it will either be postponed to a later date, or participants will be refunded their fees in the form of a gift certificate to use towards a future clinic or private lessons.
